Responsibilities

Serve as the data owner for cost analytics, coordinating across Accounts Payable, Business Control, Finance and Product Managers to consolidate Deel's cost picture into a single source of truth
Proactively identify and build the case for impactful cost analytics opportunities, create stakeholder buy-in, and monitor cost performance to identify trends and drivers
Apply strong data modeling skills to own and build the dbt data models that unify cost data, enabling reconciliation, margin analysis, and cost attribution at the business-unit level
Create and promote effective self-service analytics infrastructure, including dashboards and clear data visualizations that drive decision making
Make intelligent choices for the adoption of new technologies based on your extensive experience
Contribute to the development and growth of fellow analysts by proactively sharing knowledge, providing mentoring, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or equivalent degree
5+ years' experience as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or equivalent
Hands on experience in at least one modern BI tools (preferably Looker)
Proficiency in SQL
Solid experience with Data Modelling (DBT)
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills and experience dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority
Experience with Snowflake and LookML is a plus
Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) is a plus

Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
We don't ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
