As a (Senior) Key Account Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for growing and developing our OEM customer relationships, with a clear focus on selling media and advertising solutions. You create customer-specific commercial strategies, advise senior stakeholders across marketing and media functions, and drive sustainable revenue growth from discovery to close and ongoing performance management. Role Mission Your mission is to generate predictable, significant media revenue with selected OEMs by identifying OEM-specific advertising and media use cases building compelling, data-driven sales narratives and proposals successfully navigating complex OEM stakeholder structures and establishing long-term partnerships with measurable value
1) Key Account Ownership & Relationship Management You act as the primary point of contact for a defined set of OEM key accounts for all topics related to media/advertising You build relationships with relevant decision-makers (e.g., Marketing, Brand, Performance) You create and own account plans with clear targets (revenue, product mix, intra-group expansion, upsell/cross-sell) 2) Consulting & Solution Selling You advise OEM customers on the right advertising solutions aligned to their marketing goals (branding, consideration, performance, sales/leads, retailer support) You translate customer needs into tailored campaign setups (packages/bundles, durations, audiences, placements, KPI definitions) You position our portfolio convincingly towards OEMs and lead commercial negotiations through to close 3) Revenue Ownership & Pipeline Management You carry revenue responsibility for your accounts and manage your pipeline within defined forecasting processes You identify growth opportunities, develop pricing/package logic and negotiate framework agreements You prepare proposals and present them in an executive-ready format 4) Campaign Delivery, Performance & Customer Success You ensure booked campaigns are set up and delivered successfully (in close collaboration with Ad Ops/Operations, Product and Data teams) You lead business and performance reviews (e.g., monthly/quarterly), interpret KPI development and derive optimization actions You increase renewal and upsell potential through proactive performance and insights communication 5) Internal Orchestration & Stakeholder Management You collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Data/BI, Marketing, Legal/Finance) to deliver customer requirements efficiently You structure and share customer feedback and support the development of products, packaging and go-to-market
Must-have Several years of experience in key account management / sales within media, digital advertising, ad tech, publishing/monetization or comparable B2B sales environments Proven track record in growing existing accounts, upselling and negotiating with senior stakeholders Solid understanding of common digital marketing KPIs (e.g., reach, frequency, CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, viewability) as well as advertising and campaign mechanics Strong communication and presentation skills, including with senior/executive stakeholders Very good German and English skills Nice-to-have Experience in the OEM/automotive industry and/or managing complex enterprise customers and agency setups Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and structured forecasting processes Understanding of data-driven targeting and measurement approaches (e.g., audience strategies, incrementality, attribution) How you work Customer-first & consultative: you sell solutions, not “products”.
