As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of general ledger activities across local and international Lucanet entities, playing a key role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our business. You will be at the forefront of critical financial decision-making, utilising your expertise to track, collect, and manage financial data with precision and insight.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end accounting tasks for local and international Lucanet entities independently
- Record all business transactions accurately, including payment processing and reminders
- Post and verify incoming invoices across creditor, debtor, and asset accounting
- Perform intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in line with local statutory requirements
- Handle VAT and other statutory returns as required
- Support internal teams, including tax and external audit, and contribute to accounting projects
What you bring to the table
- University degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or controlling
- Proven end-to-end bookkeeping ownership experience
- Experience with Business Central / Navision or a similar ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and analytical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
