Set a new pulse for healthcare!

We are looking for a Head of Brand Design to own the creative foundation from which every team across Doctolib builds, setting the brand standard that makes Doctolib a genuine competitive advantage.
Doctolib is at an inflection point: evolving from a booking and agenda tool into an AI-first clinical platform for healthcare professionals, and from a transactional app into a daily health companion for patients. Our brand needs to carry that ambition. Reporting directly to the VP Brand & Design, you will lead the central brand team and build an identity that is sharp, coherent, and enduring, unmistakably Doctolib across France, Germany, Italy, and beyond.
Design is what differentiates our product experience. It bridges complex journeys across healthcare professionals and people, ensures our AI solutions are trustworthy and effective, and maintains the human and medical foundations of providing care. Our 50+ person international design team covers all of our product surfaces, from people-facing experiences to solutions for healthcare practitioners across multiple specialties and markets.

    What you'll do

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Translate the strategic brand foundation (positioning, personality, and creative direction) into a coherent brand design strategy and language for both Pro and Patient audiences across markets
    • Define and steward Doctolib's visual identity system, including logo, colour, typography, motion, illustration, and photography, as well as the brand architecture that works across Pro, Patient, and market variants
    • Own the brand principles that make Doctolib's brand executable at scale: clear enough for local creative teams and agencies to work independently, strong enough that the result is unmistakably Doctolib
    • Define the brand's aesthetic direction within the design system: token values, component character, and motion principles that carry brand intent into every product surface
    • Ensure the product experience and the brand identity evolve together, making Doctolib's interface a recognisable brand asset, not just a functional tool
    • Set the quality standard and review cadence that keeps the brand coherent across all touchpoints (product, campaigns, local markets, and events), enabling speed without drift

    Who you are

Before you read on: if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply.
You'll be a great fit if you:
    • Have 10+ years in brand design, with a portfolio that demonstrates both strategic depth and visual excellence
    • Have experience leading brand identity work for a consumer or B2B2C product company, not just campaigns or marketing
    • Have a proven ability to build and evolve brand systems that work at scale across markets and channels
    • Have a deep understanding of how brand identity translates into digital product design: you know how a token works, not just what a token is
    • Are fluent in English
It would be fantastic if you:
    • Have experience working in or alongside regulated or high-trust industries such as healthcare or finance
    • Are proficient in French or German, given our primary markets
