We are looking for a passionate new team member to join us as a (Senior) OEM Partnership & Business Development Manager (d/f/m). OEMs are playing a huge role in mobile.de’s future as we gain momentum with our ambition to significantly grow in the New Car space — and match the leading position we already hold in the Used Car market. Success will be underpinned by having brilliant people who are truly passionate about building long-term strategic partnerships with car manufacturers. This role is crucial in progressing our commercial and strategic OEM relationships, and identifying the solutions we can offer to support each OEM. We want to inspire and motivate OEMs to work with mobile.de across all our business areas — from New Car integrations to Used Car pricing insights. We have access to a wealth of data and solutions, and it is the OEM team’s responsibility to bring this to life. The OEM team works closely with Strategy, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and Product & Tech. The team regularly brings in subject matter experts to support OEMs with their specific needs — always ensuring our partners have an experience to be proud of, and that our results inspire them to deepen the partnership.
What We’re Looking ForMin. 3–5+ years of successful sales or consulting experience in a digital or automotive business environment OEM experience in new car or used car management, sales/marketing steering or dealer development University degree (BA, MA, diploma) or relevant professional experience. Understanding of OEM sales model (wholesale & retail), organisational structures and working models. Naturally curious and proactive in your approach to data analysis. Ability to understand data and translate it into compelling, data-led stories that inspire change. Organised, with the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools preferred. Willingness and ability to travel. Nice-to-Have: Experience in digital marketplaces, classified platforms, or automotive e-commerce. Familiarity with advertising, media, or data-driven business models. Existing network and relationships within the German and/or European OEM landscape. Experience working within a matrix organization or in a multi-brand environment.
Your Key Responsibilities Build new and enhance existing relationships with different departments of OEMs Focus on business development activities in particular with new brands’ headquarters, national offices, retail, branch, and captive entities, to achieve medium- and long-term goals. Develop joint sales initiatives and cross-functional collaboration formats (e.g. with Advertising) based on your understanding of the market, competition, and technology trends. Share business insights, build business cases to prove added value, and negotiate contracts. Take over the account & project lead for assigned OEMs. Test and implement initiatives as part of a cross-functional team with colleagues from Strategy, Product & Tech, Marketing, and Analytics. Take responsibility for revenue targets and metrics to measure business success. Represent mobile.de’s OEM strategy.
