About the Role We are looking for a passionate new team member to join us as a Legal Counsel (d/f/m). In this role, you will serve as a trusted legal partner to our business, product, and tech teams - advising on a wide range of legal matters, from commercial contracts and product compliance to IT law and digital regulation. You will help the organisation move quickly without sacrificing legal rigour, translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance. Day-to-Day Legal Advice to the Business Provide timely, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders across Product & Technology, Marketing, Sales, and HR on a broad range of legal topics Act as the first point of contact for legal questions arising from daily business operations Advise on digital regulations including DSA, AI Act, Digital Fairness Act, GDPR, consumer rights, and unfair competition law — translating legal requirements into practical guidance 2. Contract Review and Negotiation Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts — cooperation agreements, platform terms, and supplier contracts Ensure all agreements comply with applicable regulations and mobile.de's internal standards 3. Product Compliance Contribute to product reviews in close collaboration with Product and Tech, identifying and addressing legal risks early in the development process Embed legal awareness into the product lifecycle, supporting teams in building compliant products from the ground up 4. Regulatory Monitoring and Risk Management Monitor the German and EU regulatory landscape and flag emerging risks to the relevant stakeholders Support the coordination of cross-functional initiatives across Finance, HR, Tax, Privacy, and InfoSec 5.
