    Kleinanzeigen is the leading online classifieds market in Germany. Users buy and sell on Germany's No. 1 for classifieds mainly second-hand. In this way they make an active contribution to more sustainability. On average, more than 55 million ads are available in numerous categories – from children's supplies to electronics and real estate. Kleinanzeigen also offers small and medium-sized businesses the opportunity to present their services online. Around 35 million users per month make Kleinanzeigen one of the most widely used websites in Germany. Kleinanzeigen was launched in September 2009 as eBay Kleinanzeigen. Since June 2021, the company has been part of Adevinta, a global provider of online classified ads. In May 2023, the name was changed to Kleinanzeigen. The Job: As our Real Estate business continues to grow, so does the complexity of how we price, sell and bring our products to market. While strong commercial processes and governance are already in place, our next stage of growth requires us to continuously evolve how Sales operates - making it more scalable, data-driven and adaptable to changing business needs. As Commercial Excellence Manager, you will play a key role in this evolution. Working closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional partners, you'll transform commercial strategy into practical execution by continuously improving the operating model that enables our sales organisation to succeed today and as we scale tomorrow. You will help shape how commercial decisions become operational reality - from pricing and product launches to future capabilities such as increasingly data-driven regional and hyperlocal sales steering. This is a hybrid role based in Berlin-Charlottenburg. You report to the Principal Sales Strategy & Operations. Who You Are: You bring 4–7 years of experience in Sales Strategy & Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Excellence, Business Operations, Consulting or a comparable commercial role in a fast-paced environment. You have successfully translated complex commercial concepts into scalable operating models and driven their implementation across multiple stakeholders. You understand pricing, sales processes and go-to-market mechanics and know how commercial decisions influence customer conversations and business performance. You enjoy improving existing operating models rather than simply maintaining them and thrive in environments where commercial processes continuously evolve. You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and are comfortable moving between designing frameworks and driving operational execution. You build trusted relationships across functions and influence stakeholders without formal authority. You use data—and increasingly AI-powered tools—to improve decision-making, simplify workflows and increase operational effectiveness. Experience in marketplaces, SaaS, classifieds, media, real estate or other subscription-based business models is an advantage. You communicate fluently in German and English. You own how commercial strategy is translated into scalable sales execution. You design the operating model that enables Sales to execute consistently while continuously improving how commercial decisions are implemented across the organisation. What You’ll Do: Translate pricing, product and go-to-market strategies into scalable sales processes, decision frameworks and commercial rules that enable consistent execution across the Sales organisation. Continuously evolve our sales operating model by incorporating business needs, commercial performance data and field feedback to improve efficiency, transparency and scalability. Lead high-impact commercial initiatives—including pricing changes, customer migrations and commercial policy implementation—from concept through successful rollout. Define governance for pricing, packaging, discounting and commercial policies, including decision frameworks, guardrails, escalation paths and handling of complex commercial scenarios. Partner closely with Product, Pricing, Commercial, Analytics and Sales teams to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure commercial concepts are implemented successfully. Define business requirements for systems and tools that support commercial execution and measure success through meaningful KPIs that drive continuous improvement. Act as a trusted advisor to Sales Leadership by identifying operational opportunities, challenging existing ways of working and translating business needs into scalable solutions.
