You will own end-to-end full-stack development and zero-to-one product initiatives for energy retailers. This is a product-focused engineering role at a fast-moving energy technology company, sitting at the intersection of customer discovery, full-stack delivery, and engineering culture. You will own mission-critical problems for energy retailers, turning complex domain challenges into intuitive, production-grade experiences. The team is small and mission-driven, so your work will have a direct and visible impact on the business.
What You'll Do
Spend time with customers to dissect problems and build product intuition that directly shapes engineering decisions.
Ship end-to-end solutions across the full stack, taking features from discovery through to production.
Use AI-native development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate delivery and increase your impact.
Own zero-to-one problems including dunning workflows, customer portal re-engineering, and similar initiatives.
Prioritize and curate the roadmap, deciding what to build, what to skip, and when to kill an initiative.
Solve core energy retail problems across billing, procurement, customer retention, and cost optimization.
Shape engineering culture, tooling, and processes, and help raise the bar when recruiting.
Adapt quickly to new tools and methods, and bring the broader team along with you.
What We're Looking For
A clear track record of shipping real, end-to-end full-stack products from discovery through production. We assess what you have built, not years on a resume.
Strong full-stack capabilities with comfort owning systems end to end.
Demonstrated technical exceptionality through high-bar organizations, standout shipped projects, competitions, research, founding work, or similar strong evidence.
Fluency using AI-native development tools as genuine force multipliers.
High ownership and strong judgment, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and early-stage environments.
Experience in or a strong interest in energy retail domains such as billing, procurement, customer retention, or cost optimization.
Native or near-native German fluency (C1 or above) is required for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 80,000 to 120,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
This role is fully on-site in Berlin, Germany, five days per week. Remote arrangements are not available.
