Your mission
At bliq.ai, we are building and launching driverless vehicles for everyday life.
We are looking for a Chief of Staff who wants to operate at the center of an ambitious technology company and help turn a bold vision into execution.
You will work directly with the founders across strategy, operations, hiring, fundraising, partnerships, and company building. Your job is not to observe, coordinate from the sidelines, or produce polished presentations without impact. Your job is to identify what matters most, take ownership, and make it happen.
The scope will be broad and will change as the company grows. One week, you may build the operating plan for a new market. The next, you may lead a critical hiring process, prepare an investor discussion, solve an operational bottleneck, or drive a strategic project from a blank page to a measurable result.
This is a demanding role with exceptional exposure, responsibility, and learning. It is designed for someone who wants to accelerate their career by doing difficult, important work alongside the founders.
Responsibilities:
- Turn company priorities into clear plans, owners, deadlines, and measurable outcomes
- Lead high-priority strategic and operational projects from problem definition through execution
- Work with the founders on company strategy, fundraising, investor communication, and board preparation
- Build the operating systems that allow Bliq to move quickly without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
- Identify problems before they become urgent and take responsibility for solving them
- Support expansion into new cities, markets, partnerships, and commercial opportunities
- Drive critical hiring processes and help us raise the talent density of the company
- Prepare decisions through rigorous research, analysis, and direct engagement with the people closest to the problem
- Create accountability across teams and follow through until commitments become results
- Step into important gaps across the business whenever ownership is unclear
- Protect the founders’ time and ensure their attention is focused on the highest-leverage priorities
- Raise the standard for speed, clarity, preparation, and execution across the company
Your profile

- You have an initial track record of exceptional performance in a demanding environment such as a high-growth startup, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or an operational leadership role
- You may be non-technical, but are effective in communicating with technical staff and "speak their language"
- You are highly ambitious and want your level of responsibility to grow faster than it would in a conventional career
- You have outstanding analytical ability and can quickly understand unfamiliar, complex problems
- You communicate clearly, write well, and can turn ambiguity into a concrete course of action
- You have strong commercial judgment and understand how decisions affect customers, employees, investors, and company value
- You act without waiting to be managed and maintain momentum when information is incomplete
- You are comfortable switching between strategic thinking and detailed execution
- You are extremely reliable. When you take ownership of something, people stop worrying about whether it will get done
- You hold yourself and others to high standards and address missed commitments directly
- You are willing to do unglamorous work when it is necessary to achieve the result
- You learn quickly, accept direct feedback, and do not protect your ego when the facts change
- You have the judgment and discretion required to handle sensitive company information
- You are fluent in English. German is useful but not required
This role will probably not suit you if you need predictable tasks, narrow responsibilities, extensive guidance, or strict boundaries around what belongs to your job. It will suit you if you want to be measured by outcomes, take on more responsibility than your title suggests, and a build something that does not yet exist.
