    THE ROLE & THE TEAM

    Zalando’s Media Team within the Marketing department is looking for a Senior Manager Media Go To Market Nordics . You’ll work across a set of markets from the Nordics cluster (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden) to lead the yearly media investment and activation of Zalando’s media campaigns locally, adapting global frameworks considering market needs, planning and optimizing campaigns, as well as gathering results and sharing learnings. Responsible for Zalando’s media activations in the local markets, you will also be collaborating directly with our local Media Agencies and the Go To Market Marketing teams. This role will report to the Team Lead Media Go To Market.

    WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

    • Bringing the most of working collaboratively with Go To Market Marketing teams and local media Agency - balancing pan-European strategies with local media and communications challenges and needs in an efficient manner

    • Leading local annual media planning, local media mix and end-to-end media campaigns

    • Implementing omnichannel thinking through unified on/off activations

    • Managing best in-class brand media activations, with upper and mid funnel focus (to drive awareness and consideration). Delivering media planning and buying practices across all media channels for your regional cluster (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden), and driving campaign media support from briefing to reporting.

    • Lead the relationship with local media agency offices

    • Budgets and forecasts management

    WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

    •  At least 5 years experience in Media Planning (online /offline) within an Agency or Advertiser and hold a degree in either marketing, advertising, business and/or similar field (or an equivalent in working experience)

    • Proven record of planning and deploying local and regional campaigns

    • Excellent stakeholder management, professional confidence and prioritization skills 

    • Ability to interpret and elaborate on actionable outcomes with high level presentation and excel skills

    • Great communication skills, fluent English (any cluster language skills appreciated)

    • European media landscape knowledge with special focus on experience within the  regional cluster (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden)

    • Passionate about marketing / media and cross-teams cooperation

    • Experience with Fashion / Retail / Beauty / Lifestyle industries appreciated but not mandatory
