Key Account Manager (d/f/m) Baden-Württemberg · Rheinland-Pfalz · Saarland · Hessen Remote role based in the region As a Key Account Manager at mobile.de, you are the central point of contact and trusted partner for our most important dealer customers in your region. You build lasting relationships, understand your customers’ business in depth, and create real value – by connecting the right products and solutions to the right needs at the right time. You bring a genuine passion for the automotive world and a strong commercial mindset. You work closely with dealers to help them grow their business on mobile.de, and you bring valuable market insights back into our organisation. This role is for someone who enjoys being on the road, thrives in customer-facing environments, and takes pride in the quality and impact of their work. 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or a customer-facing commercial role Background in automotive retail, vehicle dealerships, or automotive-adjacent services (e.g. financing, leasing, fleet management, or dealer solutions) – you understand how dealerships work and what matters to them Strong relationship-building skills – you connect naturally with people at all levels of an organisation Solid analytical skills – you are comfortable working with performance data and using it to guide conversations A structured, self-organised approach to managing a regional portfolio of accounts A consultative mindset – you listen first, then advise Willingness to travel regularly within your region (Baden-Württemberg, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, Hessen) Fluent in German; business English is a plus Customer Partnership & Relationship Management Serve as the primary contact for a defined portfolio of key dealer accounts in your region Build strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the customer organisation Understand your customers’ business goals, challenges, and opportunities in depth Conduct regular on-site visits to maintain close dialogue and act as a reliable partner Account Development & Growth Identify growth opportunities within your accounts and develop tailored plans to realise them Actively drive product adoption and help customers get the most out of the mobile.de platform Support customers in improving their online presence, listing quality, and performance on mobile.de Manage contract renewals and upselling conversations in a consultative, customer-centric way Consultative Customer Dialogue Prepare and lead structured customer appointments with clear objectives and outcomes Use performance data and market insights to enrich conversations and support customer decisions Offer relevant recommendations based on a solid understanding of each customer’s situation Follow up consistently and ensure agreed actions are implemented Market & Competitive Awareness Stay informed about developments in the automotive retail market and the competitive landscape Understand trends relevant to your customers – such as digitalisation, pricing dynamics, and inventory shifts Share customer feedback and market intelligence with internal teams to inform product and strategy Collaboration & Internal Alignment Work closely with internal teams – including product, marketing, and customer success – to deliver the best outcomes for your customers Represent the voice of your customers internally and help shape how mobile.de evolves its offering Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of account activities and pipeline in CRM tools What Success Looks Like We believe the best KAMs are measured not just by revenue, but by the value they create for their customers.
