We are looking for a (Senior) Procurement Manager (d/f/m) to join our Mobile Procurement Team in Berlin on a 1 year fixed-term contract. About the Procurement Team Our Procurement organization is undergoing an exciting transformation - which means real ownership, real decisions, and real impact from day one. Reporting directly to the Mobile Lead of Procurement, you will manage your own sourcing portfolio, drive negotiations end-to-end, and build sourcing strategies that translate business needs into measurable outcomes. You will work closely with both local and global stakeholders across Tech, Marketing, and Professional Services - and you will be expected to move with speed and conviction, even when the path is not yet fully defined. What You Bring 4–5+ years experience in indirect procurement with a strong command of strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier management - you are equally comfortable in a strategy session and a contract negotiation, and you do not wait for perfect conditions to deliver results Proven negotiation track record - you have led and closed negotiations Strong analytical skills - you work confidently with spend data, build your own analyses, and draw independent conclusions Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset - you take ownership of your topics and drive them forward, even in ambiguous or evolving environments Stakeholder management at eye level - you build trust through substance and earn alignment through well-reasoned arguments Genuine interest in transformation and AI - you see new tools as a lever for better outcomes, not a substitute for expertise Business-fluent (minimum B2) in both German and English, written and spoken This role is a strong opportunity to make a meaningful impact within one year, gain exposure to senior stakeholders, and help shape the future of Procurement at mobile.de. What You Will Do: Act as a trusted procurement partner creating alignment, guiding decisions, and managing relationships with credibility Own end-to-end sourcing across indirect categories - from RFP/RFQ to contract signature Build and execute category strategy (€50–100m local spend) that translate business needs into measurable outcomes Cover a diverse category portfolio with a primary focus on Tech, Marketing, and Professional Services and step into new categories as business priorities shift Analyse spend data independently, draw your own conclusions, and turn findings into clear, fact-based recommendations for stakeholders and leadership Use AI tools to work smarter - without losing command of your own data and analysis Working at mobile.de comes with its perks!
