At JetBrains, code is our passion. For over 26 years, we’ve been striving to make the most effective developer tools on earth. By automating routine checks and corrections, our tools speed up coding and software development, freeing you to grow, discover, and create.

WebStorm is JetBrains’ IDE for JavaScript and TypeScript, used by developers building modern web and Node.js applications.

We are now looking for a passionate, creative, and open-minded Product Marketing Manager to drive marketing activities for WebStorm and the broader web ecosystem. In this role, you will support WebStorm’s marketing efforts by shaping positioning and messaging, supporting go-to-market launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring clear, developer-focused stories to market.

    Responsibilities

    Positioning and messaging:

    • Own and evolve WebStorm’s positioning and messaging, keeping it consistent across channels and aligned with product and business strategy.
    • Translate product strengths into clear, developer-focused narratives and key messages for campaigns, launches, and content.

    Campaigns and marketing execution:

    • Lead go-to-market planning for releases and key initiatives, defining the plan, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution end to end.
    • Create launch-ready assets for core channels (website updates, release posts, newsletters, and enablement-style materials), ensuring quality and consistency.
    • Maintain a content release calendar and ensure marketing activities are delivered on time.

    Market and customer insights:

    • Gather and synthesize market and customer insights, turning them into actionable recommendations for messaging, content priorities, and go-to-market decisions.
    • Track performance of key marketing activities and use insights to iterate and improve outcomes.

    Cross-functional collaboration:

    • Partner closely with Product, Developer Advocacy, Research, Sales, and Marketing teams to keep priorities aligned and execution smooth.
    • Drive the creation of high-quality product-related content and materials with cross-functional partners.

We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you:

    • Have at least three years of experience in marketing or product marketing, ideally in software development or tech.
    • Are fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
    • Can craft and execute strategic marketing initiatives with measurable outcomes.
    • Possess an analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and optimize performance.
    • Are creative and innovative in your marketing strategies, with a results-driven approach.
    • Are self-motivated and organized, with a track record of delivering impactful projects on time and within budget.

We’d be especially thrilled if you:

    • Are experienced with B2B or technical products.
    • Have hands-on coding experience and interest in modern web development.
    • Understand developer audiences and communities.
