Senior GEO Manager

The Role

Lucanet is looking for a senior practitioner to own our organic and AI search visibility strategy. This spans traditional search engines like Google and Bing, generative AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot, and emerging answer engine environments.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the intersection of search strategy, commercial performance, and stakeholder influence. You will set the vision and roadmap for how Lucanet's brand, products, and expertise are found, cited, and represented as an authority in the financial performance management sector. You will communicate that story clearly to the marketing team and to senior leadership.

You will be a strategic owner, not a channel specialist. You will combine technical expertise with a commercial mindset, turning complex search signals into executive-ready narratives, pipeline-aligned KPIs, and evidence-based recommendations. You will sit within Marketing Operations and work cross-functionally with Content, Web Operations, and Product.

What you'll do

• Own Lucanet's SEO, GEO, AEO, and LLM Optimisation strategy, aligned to pipeline targets and the annual digital plan.
• Build a multi-year roadmap for organic and generative visibility, with clear milestones and success criteria.
• Connect visibility metrics to pipeline contribution and commercial outcomes.
• Track search algorithm and LLM behaviour shifts, and act on commercial impact early.
• Oversee technical, on-page, semantic, and authority-building programmes across Web, Product Marketing, and Content.
• Run audits covering technical health, entity coverage, authority signals, and AI citability.
• Implement structured data (Schema.org/JSON-LD) and answer-first content formats to improve AI citation.
• Strengthen Lucanet's E-E-A-T signals to support organic ranking and AI citation eligibility.
• Build a KPI framework spanning traditional SEO metrics and AI visibility metrics.
• Own executive dashboards that turn search data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Monitor Lucanet's brand representation across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot, and Gemini.
• Present quarterly strategic updates, adapting depth and framing for technical and executive audiences.
• Manage external SEO agencies and the AI visibility tool stack, holding partners accountable to agreed KPIs.

What you bring to the table

• 8+ years of experience in SEO, with a track record in both strategy and hands-on execution, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Solid, current knowledge of GEO and AEO, including how LLMs retrieve, rank, and cite content.
• Expert-level use of Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4.
• Hands-on experience with AI citation tools such as Profound, Otterly.ai, or Peec AI.
• Strong knowledge of structured data (Schema.org/JSON-LD) and its role in AI citation eligibility.
• Proficiency in HubSpot CMS and Marketing Hub; experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
• Experience building dashboards and multi-touch attribution models in GA4.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to CMO-level audiences.
• A strong analytical mindset, able to turn data into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Advanced English is essential. German, French, or Spanish is a plus.
