What you’ll do & Who you are You'll join our Strategy & Business Growth team at a pivotal moment as mobile.de actively pursues inorganic growth to shape the future of mobility. In this role, you will drive end-to-end M&A execution - from screening and valuation to due diligence and signing - while contributing to the broader growth strategy that determines where and how we expand. You'll work closely with senior leadership, legal, finance, and external advisors, building the business cases and deal narratives that inform our most critical investment decisions. Your Profile 3–5+ years in Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Strategy Consulting with M&A focus, Corporate Development, or Strategy & M&A Excellent drive for execution: rigorous project management, prioritization, pace, and attention to detail under pressure Comfort coordinating multiple parties (business owners, functional owners, advisors) and pushing to decisions under ambiguity Superior senior stakeholder management with clear and concise communication and powerful decks / memos Working knowledge of deal process and documentation (e.g., LOI, SPA concepts, closing mechanics) Strong corporate finance fundamentals and hands-on modeling/valuation capability (Excel/Sheets mastery) Proven ability to discuss various cross-functional requirements (e.g., legal, finance, tax, technology in diligence) with the respective experts Sound judgment on risk: ability to separate “nice-to-know” from “need-to-know” in diligence ● High integrity and discretion with confidential information Your Impact Contribute to growth strategy development by assessing priority themes, adjacency bets, and build/partner/buy options; translate strategy into an actionable opportunity roadmap Run market monitoring for targets, competitors, and ecosystem moves Build and own business plans (e.g., standalone, synergies, one-time costs, sensitivities) and valuation models (e.g., DCF, comps, precedent transactions) Coordinate end-to-end M&A execution from screening to signing and closing: NDA, CIM, data room, diligence trackers, Q&A flow, management meetings, advisor workstreams, and more Drive commercial, financial, operational, legal, and other due diligence workstreams with internal SMEs and external advisors Support negotiation and documentation work by translating business requirements into deal terms (LOI/term sheet inputs; key SPA items) in close partnership with Legal and external counsel Prepare investment committee and senior management materials with crisp narratives: deal thesis, value creation plan, risks/mitigations, returns, scenario analysis Support integration planning handoff Build and refine M&A playbooks (templates, checklists, diligence scopes, valuation standards, lessons learned) to improve repeatability, quality, and speed across transactions Working at mobile.de comes with its perks!
