    About the Position

    As an Office Manager (aka Temple Manager) at HOLY, you keep our Berlin office (the HOLY Temple) running reliably day to day. You ensure everything looks great, works smoothly, and feels like a place where the team, visitors, and candidates genuinely enjoy being. You are part of the People & Organization team, report to Alan (People Experience Lead), and solve problems before they arise so the team can focus on their work.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own the Temple Experience:
      Keep the office clean, stocked, safe, and consistently ready for the team, visitors, candidates, and investors. Be the person everyone relies on to make sure the space looks and feels like HOLY every single day.
    • Run Day-to-Day Operations:
      Manage supplies, meeting room setup, mail, deliveries, hardware coordination, and office admin with strong follow-through and low friction. Build routines that keep things running smoothly without constant oversight.
    • Manage Vendors & Facilities:
      Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance providers, landlords, and office service partners. Resolve issues quickly, hold vendors to a high standard, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
    • Support Team Rituals & Events:
      Coordinate celebrations, welcome setups, team moments, and on-site event logistics that strengthen connection and bring the HOLY culture to life in the office.
    • Improve How the Office Works:
      Spot friction points early and implement practical fixes. Build simple playbooks and routines so core office operations become more reliable and less dependent on ad hoc problem-solving as HOLY grows.


    About You

    • Experienced in office management: You bring 2+ years of experience in office or workplace management and know how to juggle multiple tasks, stakeholders, and priorities at the same time.
    • Reliable and thoughtful: You follow through consistently - both on recurring tasks and on spontaneous requests. Things don’t get left behind when you take ownership.
    • Service-oriented: You create a warm, professional atmosphere for everyone entering the Temple—from team members to investors.
    • Proactive: You don’t wait for someone to point out a problem. You spot it early, find a pragmatic solution, and implement it.
    • Operationally grounded: You keep an overview even when things get busy and know when to act yourself and when to escalate.
    • Fluent in German and English: Both are a must for this role.

    The Process

    As we are experiencing rapid growth and have ambitious plans, the optimal start date for the position is today. Nonetheless, we are prepared to patiently await the arrival of the ideal candidate, recognizing that quality ultimately yields the best results.

  1. Getting to know you: We will have a 30 minute screening interview where we will talk to you more about HOLY and the position and see if our expectations match.
  2. Hiring Manager interview with Alan: We will dive a bit deeper into your experience and details of the role.
  3. Case study & on-site interview: As soon as you have successfully completed the first interviews, you will receive a case study. In a second meeting at our office, the team will discuss your case study with you and answer questions about our workspace, the HOLY Temple.
  4. Interview with Matze: As a strong cultural fit is important to us, you will have a final meeting with Matze, one of our HOLY Founders. This gives both you and us the opportunity for a final check.
  5. Job offer and decision: If everything goes well, you will receive an offer and we are ready to embark you this journey together with you!
  6. Typically his process should take around 2-3 weeks.
