    trawa is based in Berlin with ~100 FTE, ~30 of whom work in Product & Tech. We have raised over €35M to date — including a €24M Series A in May 2025 — backed by Balderton, Headline, Speedinvest, AENU, Magnetic, and Tiny VC. All three founders are on board and fully committed to building the utility of the future.

     
     

    Your Team

    You will join the Platform team, working day-to-day alongside three software engineers. You will be trawa's first dedicated IT hire — which means genuine ownership, and genuine impact.

     
     

    The Role

    We are looking for a hands-on, security-minded IT professional to join as our first dedicated IT Support Manager.

     

    You will:

    • Give every trawa employee a secure, reliable, and well-configured working environment from day one

    • Support trawa's security and compliance posture — executing the operational layer while Engineering leadership owns governance and risk

    • Enable the company to scale confidently with robust access controls, device management, and audit-ready evidence

     
     

    90-Day Goals

    Weeks 1–6 — Onboarding

    • Well embedded in the team, with strong working relationships across Engineering, Operations, and People

    • Confidently operating the core IT toolset day to day: MDM platform, Vanta, and endpoint security tooling

    • Initial review of trawa's ISO 27001 control status complete, with a prioritised improvement plan agreed with Engineering leadership

     

    Month 3 — Ramp-up

    • Access management running on least-privilege principles, with reviews meeting all ISO 27001 requirements

    • Employee onboarding and offboarding running end-to-end with documented, repeatable workflows — no open access or device issues

    • Improvement opportunities from the initial review actively in progress, with clear ownership and timelines tracked in Vanta

     
     

    Responsibilities

    Hardware & Configuration

    • Provision and manage employee devices (laptops, monitors, peripherals) across the full lifecycle: procurement, setup, tracking, and offboarding

    • Handle day-to-day IT support — software installs, connectivity issues, account troubleshooting

    • Own the hardware asset inventory

    • Set up and maintain meeting room AV and conferencing equipment

     

    Security & Compliance (ISO 27001)

    • Support maintenance of trawa's ISO 27001 certification through compliant operations and thorough documentation

    • Manage relevant controls in Vanta, our compliance platform

    • Maintain compliance with security policies (Acceptable Use, Password Policy, Incident Response) in collaboration with Engineering leadership

    • Support external auditors during certification cycles with evidence packages and control walkthroughs

    • Run phishing simulations and coordinate security-awareness training across the company

    • Identify and escalate security gaps to the appropriate owner

     

    Identity & Access Management

    • Provision and de-provision access across SaaS tools during onboarding and offboarding

    • Own SSO / IdP configuration and enforce least-privilege access principles

    • Conduct access reviews as required

     

    Endpoint Security & MDM

    • Own and operate the MDM platform, ensuring configuration aligns with compliance requirements

    • Monitor endpoint security alerts from EDR / AV tooling

    • Maintain device compliance at all times

     
     

    What You Bring

    • 2–5 years of experience in a corporate IT, IT security, or IT operations role

    • Hands-on MDM experience (any major platform)

    • Solid experience with an IdP / SSO platform

    • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar audit-support work

    • Experience with a compliance platform such as Vanta or Drata

    • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset — you close tickets and fix the root cause
